Mk7 Gti Lock Manually Lock Door

I woke up this morning to discover that i had forgotten to lock my car last night or it seems that way and the first giveaway was that the door mirrors were unfolded.

On those cars you could push the lock button and then close the door on the passenger side but on the driver s side the only way to lock the door was from the outside using the key in the lock.
